Research Interests

My previous graduate research focused on understanding gene expression regulatory mechanisms at the transcriptional and post-transcriptional level in maize, a genetics model organism. I utilized molecular biology techniques and various bioinformatic tools to address my research. Currently, I’m interested in science education and exploring teaching practices.
