Rising Seniors
Degree Works Review: Rising seniors will need to schedule an appointment with your advisor to confirm your Degree Works is accurate. This can be done during your regularly scheduled advising appointment. All seniors need to confirm the remaining requirements needed to satisfy your specific degree program requirements.
Seniors: Apply to Graduate
The address is the mailing address diplomas will be mailed to after degree requirements have been met. Use a permanent address not a temporary one!
Our department uses this information to distribute important information such as emails and letters. Students who fail to apply to graduate, using the instructions above, will not receive important graduation information, will not be in our program and will not have the clearances to pick up tickets.

RSVP to the Department of Biology Recognition Ceremony
To RSVP to our ceremony, please follow the directions sent out via email. When tickets are utilized for our ceremony, students who pick up tickets are considered attending.
Guest Tickets
Tickets are for guests only. Graduates do not need a ticket for our ceremony. Students that have applied to graduate will receive emails with details on when tickets are available to pick up as well as how many tickets each student can pick up. Tickets must be picked up in person during regular business hours. Your 1Card is required in order to pick up tickets. In the event there are unclaimed tickets, an email communication will be sent to those that picked up tickets with details on how to request extra tickets.
ADA Assistance
If you or one of your guests requires ADA assistance, please notify both the department and DSS by email with specific accommodations required so that we can make appropriate arrangements. To make appropriate accommodations, it is very important that we are informed of any special needs, (wheelchair seating, mobility issues, sign language interpreter, etc.)
Please note, we do not offer wheelchairs for guests. Guests who do not own their own wheelchairs will need to contact a durable medical supply company.
