Biology’s Nick Duncan receives staff excellence award

Nick Duncan (center in picture), our department’s lead administrative associate, was honored this week with the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences (THCAS) Junior Staff Excellence Award for the 2021-2022 academic year. This award is given to a THCAS staff member who has worked at ECU for between 1 and 5 years. Prior to becoming our lead administrative associate this year, Nick served our department as its grants and travel specialist for four years. Nick has done an amazing job for us and his knowledge, positive attitude and professionalism bring him high praise from people across the university. Thanks for everything you do for us Nick and congratulations on this well-earned award!
