ECU Biology faculty featured in documentary for his work on lemurs and infectious diseases

Dr. Fidy Rasambainarivo

Dr. Rasambainarivo is only in his second year as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology but he has already been having a big impact on ECU and his field. His research focuses on advancing our understanding of the drivers and dynamics of disease transmission between hosts and impact of disease on health and populations. He has doctoral degrees in both veterinary medicine and ecology. His research often involves work in Madagascar where he studies lemurs and other wilidlife.
