Research and Teaching Interests

My research laboratory is no longer active.   However, I maintain an active interest in the evolution and function of long non-coding RNAs that associated with the clustered mammalian Hox genes.

Aside from this interest, my activities are focused on helping both undergraduate and graduate students improve their scientific writing.
