Research Interests

I am no longer active in laboratory research, as I am a full time administrator. My past research area centered on the biochemistry of mitochondria, specifically protein synthesis. I also had a project on apoptosis in cancer and non-cancer cells.

I am currently a member of several grant teams supporting undergraduate research in student success. I am also involved with THRIVE@ECU, a grant project to support STEM women in academia.
